Born in Turin, after earning his degree in Economics and Business, he worked at Arthur Andersen S.p.A. from 1992 to 1995.

In 1995, he joined the IFI Group (now Exor) as Financial Controller & Investor Relator. Until 2001, he predominantly handled extraordinary finance development and transactions (M&A, Corporate & Business Development). He then returned in 2002 to hold the role of Chief Financial Officer & Head of Corporate Finance until 2005. From 2001 to 2002, he held the role of Chief Financial Officer for Juventus Football Club.

From 2005 to 2012, he took on the general management of the Alpitour Group, handling the Group’s turnaround and relaunch, succeeding in recovering profitability and leadership in the Italian market.

In 2012, he joined the Marcegaglia Group.

In November 2012, he became Chairman and CEO of the Gabetti Group and since June 2013 has held the office of Chairman and CEO of Marcegaglia Buildtech.

Holding a degree in Architecture and a European Master’s in Real Estate Market & Town Planning, in 1991 he joined REAG (Real Estate Advisory Group S.p.A.), a company of the American Appraisal Group, covering various roles up to General Manager from 2006.

In 2012, he joined the Gabetti Group as Chairman and CEO of Abaco Servizi S.r.l., roles still held today in the Abaco Team S.p.A., the new name of the company operating in the sector of technical consulting and management of large property portfolios.

Since 2014 he has been CEO of the Gabetti Group and, in addition, holds numerous positions in other companies of the Group.

Since 2014 he has been CEO of Patrigest, a consulting company specialising in Advisory & Valuation and the Chairman of the holding Tree Real Estate for the development of franchising networks.

After holding the role for two years as Chief Executive Officer, in 2022 he was appointed Gabetti Agency’s Board, a leading company in real estate brokerage.

Chairman of Wikicasa, a real estate portal, and member of Gabetti Lab’s board, a leading company in Italy for the sustainable management of buildings.

Since 2021, he has been Deputy Vice Chairman of Marchi Storici, the association of companies included in the Register of Historic Brands of National Interest of the MISE, with the goal of promoting the strategic importance of historic brands in Italy and around the world.

With a Degree in Economics and Business and after ten years of experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers, in 2006 Marco Speretta joined La Gaiana, a listed property company, in the role of CFO. After the first year, he joined the Gabetti Group in the same role. He is currently General Manager of the Gabetti Group and oversees the functions of Administration, Finance and Control; Human Resources; Information Technology; Legal and Corporate Affairs; Purchasing and Marketing. Since 2014, he has held the positions of CEO of Gabetti Franchising, Grimaldi and Professionecasa, franchising networks of the Group and of Tree Real Estate Holding. Since 2016, he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Monety and MutuiSi, the group’s credit brokerage companies. In 2019 he became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gabetti Lab, the first and most important Network of Companies in the field of sustainable management of buildings in Italy. In addition, since 2019 he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of G Rent, a company listed in the Euronext Growth Milan, which handles built-to-rent and short rent in the luxury market. He also oversees many of the companies operating in the Group’s innovative businesses, such as Moon Energy in the energy sector, AssicuraRE in the insurance sector and Recrowd, which handles lending and crowdfunding, also under the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is also the Director of several other companies, including Wikicasa, a real estate ads portal, and G-Welfare, in the company welfare sector.

With a Degree in Economics and Business and an MBA-SDA Bocconi (Small & Medium Enterprise focus), after starting in the finance area within big four advisory and listed companies, he entered the real estate sector in 2004, working in Advisory & Acquisition at Prelios, as a Transaction Manager. In 2009, he’s Director of Asset Manager department at IMMES and PAT, a leading company with a focus on the management of long-term care homes and real estate portfolios. After holding the role of Head of Asset Management at Gabetti Group and General Manager at Patrigest (Gabetti Group), Alessandro Lombardo became Head of Business Development and Investment Analysis of Torre SGR (Fortress Group), where his responsibilities include fundraising for the creation of new real estate funds. In his new role as Chief Commercial Officer of the Gabetti Group, he is the reference person for Corporate Clients, Real Estate Funds and Investors seeking consulting in all sectors of Real Estate throughout Italy and beyond.
